Being a missionary is not what you think. I have met and come to respect many of the missionaries here. They struggle just to carry out everyday tasks in a very tough environment. Not only that: they strive to make Jesus Christ known were he is not, and endure serious persecution. I don't mean their lives are in danger of brutality, but....well, I will let you read about them.
